Can I add cream or Milk?
Absolutely, you can add cream or milk to your coffee and orange juice mixture, but there are a few things to consider.
The acidity of the orange juice might cause the milk to curdle, leading to a less-than-appealing texture.
However, when done right, adding milk or cream can provide a creamier texture and a smoother flavor profile, balancing acidity and bitterness.
Remember, the type of milk or cream you use could make a difference. Whole milk or heavy cream, for example, is less likely to curdle compared to low-fat milk. Also, the order in which you add the ingredients could affect the outcome.
You could potentially avoid the curdling issue by making sure the orange juice and milk are both at the same temperature then Slowly pour the orange juice into the glass of milk and simultaneously stir as you pour. Once the drink has been mixed pour it directly into the glass of ice cubes to avoid separation.
Experimentation is key, and everyone’s taste is different. So, feel free to play around with the ratios and ingredients until you find a combination that suits your palate!
